Sustainability Management Model and Governance Structure at Atakey Patates
As a subsidiary operating under TFI TAB Gıda Yatırımları A.Ş., Atakey Patates places sustainability at the core of its business strategy. Strengthening climate resilience, enhancing environmental and social impacts, and engaging stakeholders in sustainable transformation are among its key objectives. This approach is implemented through an integrated model that spans from strategic decision-making to operational execution.
The strategies and practices developed in the fields of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aim to enhance resilience against climate-related risks while ensuring systematic performance monitoring. This process is owned and guided at the highest level by Atakey Patates Board of Directors.
The Corporate Governance Committee oversees the sustainability process in coordination with the Atakey Patates Sustainability Committee and submits periodic reports to the Board. The Sustainability Committee consists of 14 members, representing a wide range of departments including plant management, finance, agriculture, environment, quality, human resources, customer relations, marketing, investor relations, supply chain, TFI sustainability, internal control, and risk management. The committee is chaired by the Executive Committee Member and Plant Director.
Sustainability Working Groups are composed of technical experts tasked with implementing the defined strategies. These teams possess expertise in areas such as agriculture, environment, food safety, engineering, and occupational health and safety. They carry out field practices and process improvement efforts in areas such as energy, water, waste management, biodiversity, climate change, diversity, and inclusion.
